Thanksgiving brings things to be thankful for...

Today being Black Friday I learned a lot about how much I have learned and grown in faith and in life. As I looked at the ads, I recalled a time when I would circle all the things that I "wanted" and then had to have. Problem is, looking back, I did not need any of them. Today as I looked, well there was nothing I needed and a few things, (mostly for the boys for xmas) that would "be nice". It finally hit me. I have grown. I understand now that God will provide for me. That he has provided for me. Right now there is nothing that Target, Walmart, or Kohls can give me that will make me happy.

We stopped by Target and lucked out on a few things for the boys for Xmas presents at 50% off, we were not looking for them and they were out of place. Got some groceries, a George Foreman grille at 60% off and then some Pizza for lunch and headed home. It was a great feeling......I grew up. Materal has become unmaterial. There are things going on in my life that are far more important than getting up at 2am to get that comforter that is $40, that I might or might not use. Don't be fooled by all the good deals, most times they are not as good as they seem, and chances are that they will be on sale again.

With the things my sister Mindi is going through, and the finacial issues that we have dealt with this year, black Friday, has not just become another Friday to me. Funny how much we can change and how quickly it can happen. Continue to stay strong my family, all these things will pass with time, prayer and faith.

Love to all!
