Why Again?

So I think I am throwing in the towel on Christmas this year.  My sister in law just emailed me.  I guess Roger's folks are not having Xmas Eve Celebration at their place this year.  I was wondering, but guess I thought that maybe we would just all pitch in and cook so they would not have to worry.  Mary my mother in law was in the hospital for well at least a month, and my father in law has been struggling with some hearing loss.

I am already mourning the loss of my Christmas with my mother, and now this has broken the straw, of the camel that was being held together by the horse whose brother in law is an ass!

Ok Carrie here, WHAT are you kidding.  Nothing like celebrating the birth of Christ with a little avacado dips right??  I mean do not take offense, I am hispanic in origin, but I don't think Joseph said pass the salsa and sour cream #2 King.  Better yet for the kids......Santa has Tacos can't we??  Santa has tacos on vacation in Cancun, after he delivers all the presents and he is dog ass tired.  The man kicks back with a Jose Quervo and Burrito, gets drunk, and fat.  Then goes back to it again for the next year.
 
Now that I think about it, I mentioned to Roger at least 2 years ago that we should start going to Cancun for Christmas, make our own tradition with our family.  Maybe this is God pushing me to Cancun???  Who can say?  Sure seems that way.  Does anyone think anymore??  I understand that everyone is obssessed with showing off these days, but there a lot of things I have seen, and that I do not need to see.
 
The things that I have to have for Christmas:  My mother.......and Ham with Pineapple Glaze that my mother has now passed off to me to make.  Who the hell will make it if I am not there??  Mindi and Meagan like to wash rice, I think Shell could handle it, and Candice would need a dry run, or a "training" class and then she would probably be able to pick it up.  Now I say that without knowing her cooking abilities at all.  She was in the military for a long time and has never really cooked for herself.
 
Well I guess that locks it in........with others able to make the Pineapple Glaze, why do I need to be there with the 2 bratty kids I gave birth to?  Also Roger since I know you read this and hang on every word that I say.......What the hell is your deal?  It's ok to stay home from my mom's since "we/YOU were not originally" going to be around anyway, but you are actually considering going to the Fiesta at our kind of boyfriend in laws house?  Hey is there anyway I can teach my kids any better values than that.  .....Says Christmas to me!
 
UMM can you tell this month is not getting off on the right foot with me?  But did you catch my joke about the Ass???  That was a good one.  Hey Rog, have fun in PL the boys and I are going to church.  At least Mary was a virgin and Joseph adopted Jesus and raised him as his own son.
